G is for Gracious God

Whatever you do you cannot repay the grace that our dear Lord has bestowed upon us! Isn’t it simply amazing that we get this gift for free? Christ is the master and the redeemer and yet he has chosen to select a sinner like you and me and chose to give away his life so we can be free. Free from debt of sin, death, sickness, poverty, hunger, misery and hell. Free from the utmost lack of salvation and all this is just through his grace!

When all of us were sinners, Christ came down to the Earth as a human being and went to get crucified for our sins in our place and paid the debt of sin for us. He helped us to be free and asks nothing in return! When a human being however close he is to you chooses to help you they would expect something or the other in return but the Lord hasn’t even waited for you and me to ask! That is divine love and the grace of God. As apostle Paul writes in Hebrews 4:16, Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

He always replies when you ask him, is found when you seek him for he is the same today, yesterday and forever. As the permanence of God is established, we need to understand that we have a savior who is not just a gracious God but actually cares about what you and I think and do!

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near! – Isaiah 55:6

This is not a chance situation when you might or might not find the God but it is an assurance and a command that you seek the Lord actively when he may be found. For very soon there will be a time when you cannot seek the God and he turns his face away and that day we might regret. Seek the Lord when you are ready, when you still have time. Seek his forgiveness and grace. Enter his home with praise on your lips and seethe in to the graciousness of the God. May the grace of our heavenly father seek you, sooth you and save you!
